Fricassée De Volaille Au Morilles

This dish is where taste buds go for an adventure. The texture of the delicate mushrooms, the tenderness of those delicious hunks of chicken and that SAUCE....oh the sauce, send me home with a jug of it and put me to bed, because I'm done. I'd put that sauce on ANYTHING. Really enjoyed this dish and the presentation. If you like chicken, this is your play.

Tomates Burrata Et Pastèque

The combo of burrata, basil and tomatoes on this salad is sensational. Very nice if you're looking for a nice light meal in this blistering Houston summer.

Soupe Gratinée À L'oignon

This soup hit the spot. Very delicious and cheesy! You cannot go wrong starting your meal with this soup.

Truite Aux Amandes | Beurre Blanc Aux Câpres

My pallet has been delightfully entertained by so many of the dishes at Bistro 555, with the Truite Aux Amandes being one of the stand outs. The fish was cooked perfectly and paired so nicely with the fluffy rice...and that sauce...a taste bud paradise. I ordered a side of fries just so I could savor it all. I've had the rib eye and chicken fricasse, the beet salad (one of my faves), beef bourguignon, tomato burrata, mussels, liver pate....all exceptional. Paired with a refreshing glass of wine from their well rounded wine list and topped off by exceptional service and a quaint ambiance that feels like you've wandered to another continent and you are sure to enjoy a beautiful meal just down the street.

Truite Aux Amandes | Beurre Blanc Aux Câpres

Had one of the best meals and experiences last night! We live nearby and thought it would be fun to walk to dinner...the service was spot on. Our waiter steered us away from a wine I would have found too sweet, and helped us choose our selections. The escargot was delicious! We got the mussels, lobster pot pie and trout. Everything was so dang good, but we all agreed the pot pie was the winner. The atmosphere was rousing and fun. Make a reservation and walk on over if you can!

La Salade De Betteraves Au Chèvre Frais

This salad is a cool explosion of flavors and textures. Its a beautiful display of colors and variety and those beets are exceptional. Its a value in terms of size and is definitely shareable, though I'd never recommend it. What a great kick-off to an overall wonderful meal.

Le Fondant Au Chocolat

This is the dessert item that pulled me into the restaurant in the first place and it delivered. So warm and delicious. Absolutely loved it.

Le Steak Au Poivre De Luc

Absolutely love Bistro 555. The food was fabulous We had the mussels, ribeye steak, cheese, carpaccio, desserts and two wonderful bottles of wine, one white and the other red recommended by Alex. My wife and I eat out a lot and totally appreciate professional service. Our waiter was Axel and he was great. You can see the leadership in staff with general manager Blanca leading by doing and directing staff efforts like a wonderful symphony. No wonder this restaurant is five star all the way.

L'entrecôte Frites

The steak was fantastic. Grilled just as ordered, and more flavorful than any big steakhouse I've tried recently. We started with the beet salad, which is just as highly recommended as the steak. We will be back for another lovely meal ASAP.

Le Steak Au Poivre De Luc

My husband and I came here for my birthday dinner - he had the steak and I had a Lobster Potpie. They were both outstanding! Would 100% recommend! The wine recommendation was also wonderful. So so good! Glad we finally stopped by.
